You might have the opportunity to view wildlife while riding such as deer, raccoons, bobcats, coyotes, rabbits, fox and multiple bird species. All riders must be at least 8 years old and up and be at least 50″ tall. All participants need to weigh under 240 lbs each, should wear comfortable long pants and wear closed toed shoes like boots or tennis shoes.
The 1 Hour Ride takes you deep into the forests of Shelby Farms Park, one of the largest urban parks in the country. Along the way, you might spot deer, raccoons, bobcats, coyotes, rabbits, fox, and a wide variety of birds right from the saddle. It’s a solid amount of time to settle in, get comfortable on your horse, and actually take in the surroundings without feeling rushed.
